What is this for?

From the forums:
It would be so awesome if [the banners at the top of TGQ's site] had a mouseover that told you what it was, because I am often left wondering.

so awesome

I want to be so awesome! So I made a thing where everyone can fill in the blanks of what the banners are.

How do I use it?

If you want the annotations to show up in The Gamer's Quarter website itself, you'll need to do a little legwork. First, if you don't use Firefox already, grab it and start. Second, install the Greasemonkey Firefox extension, and restart your browser. Thirdly, install the Greasemonkey user script. Now, mouseovers will work on the TGQ site, and if you click a banner, you can get to its annotation page over here! So if you see a banner you recognize, you can just click it and fill in the details. It's very slick, trust me.

You can also fiddle around in the site itself, bouncing from random banner to random banner, checking out the full banner list, learning and growing and annotating all the while. It's fun!

If you come across a banner that you recognize that has yet to be identified, fill in the title! That is what will show up on the mouseover.

If you have some extra information (like URLs where the game can be downloaded), add a comment! That way, future generations will be able to play SPISPOPD, just by having the banner catch their eye.
